Technology enabled teaching revolutionized the classroom and is moving learning online. Join as Jacobus Boers, Senior Lecturer in International Business at Georgia State University, shares Appropriate Instructional Tools for Teaching IB:  Considerations in selecting tools to accommodate the differences in an IB course designed to be taught in face-to-face, blended, or online format.

Over the past 12 years, Jacobus has experimented, developed and refined the art of teaching with technology in all modalities from fully face-to-face to various forms of blended delivery to fully online. He also completed certificates offered by the GSU-CETL and AASCB for teaching in online and blended formats. Based on trusted teaching and learning theory, he will share an approach to the selection of content, activities and assessment tools in different delivery modes to optimize learning and achieving desired outcomes. A master teacher, he brings the practical experience of a successful international business career to the classroom, where he combines the lessons of research, theory and practice.
