Two former government lawyers with experience of international trade regulation have joined Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Washington, DC, while FisherBroyles adds litigation strength in California.
A former assistant general counsel in the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), Brooks Allen, has joined Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom as counsel in its national security practice group in Washington, DC.
A mainstay of his practice is litigation, international arbitration and cases before the World Trade Organization (WTO) on trade matters. He is also experienced in review of international transactions for national security and trade and export control reasons by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
